How to Increase your Confidence
Believe in Yourself and in Create Opportunities for Yourself
Every day is a lucky day, and every opportunity is equally big. All you have to do is, "Just Believe in Yourself and give an equal chance to each and every Opportunity that knocks your door". Once you believe in the fact that every day is lucky for you and that no chance is big or small, no one would be able to rob you of your success.
Who doesn't want to be lucky and successful? But what remains to answer is that, "Is it right to leave everything in the hands of Luck and just fold our hands and wait for any opportunity to come?" We are human and are blessed with the biggest gift that GOD has given any creature...."The Brain and the Power to utilize it to the fullest". We have the capability to create opportunities for ourselves. All that is needed is true hardwork, dedication and passion to do something and achieve beyond expectation. One should always remember that our biggest competitor is we ourself. We should always try and excel our own performance and try and make every prior step better with every move.
We all fear our failure. No one in this entire world wants to be a looser. If you have given your best and been true towards your work you can never loose. It is quiet possible that you may not emerge as the "BEST" but you will also not be a "LOOSER", and everyone who is not a looser is a "WINNER". Always remember that if you move ahead with the the fear of loosing and being a failure, you will end up loosing on many opportunities and ultimately have nothing left in your hands to try. Opportunities never give a hint before popping up. Its up to you how you grab it or create it.
Each time a person faces failure, the only thing we blame is our "Luck". Always remember that it is not only our luck that betrays us, but probably we must have put in some less effort. It is "No one" but we who is responsible for our failure or achievement. We are the one who can change our "Luck and Destiny"!
Be Honest to Yourself and Others
How honest are you to yourself and others? How many excuses do you put forward for an incomplete work? We are all bound to put forth some sort of excuses at some point of time in our life. Be it to save us from a beating, punishment, embarrassment, struggle or just out of our laziness. What-so-ever be the reason, if we are prone to give excuses, we will.
Do we hardly even realize, what impact does it have on our own nature and infact on our reputation. In the routine of telling lies and giving excuses, we often forget that who is it that we are lying to. People who are close to us, or those who are in regular touch with us, are generally aware of our habits. So there is no point in lying to them. Even those who are new to us, are prone to become aware of our habits. All that this would result to, is in the lose of our own reputation, increase in the distrust of the people towards us, decrease in the responsibilities given and ultimately the lose of our own efficiency.
We have often heard of the proverb, "Empty vessels make make noise". It is a fact, for the people who are sincere, are ready to hear for their mistakes instead of giving excuses. All you can do to avoid all this negative image about yourself, is just being honest to yourself and to others.
Laziness is one of the most important reasons that affects your health and in turn your personality. The more lazy you feel, the more you are away from a healthy lifestyle. This would impact the way you deal with people and attend to your daily work. The output you get from your own efforts, would be far more less than what would must have expected. All this results in, nothing but the loss in your own confidence, and this in turn results in comparative reduction in the impact that you leave on others. Not to mention, what suffers due to all this is how you present yourself before others and what others perceive of you.
Lets take an example: Suppose a guy is working for the Intelligence Bureau. Have you realized how far and to what extent these people have to work their brains to solve a case. They have to think of various tactics and round abouts to get through the case and see that no innocent is harassed in the course. Now if any of the employees, here lets take the guy we were talking about, in the Bureau is not as active that he is supposed to be, probably the team would loose out on an important link that wraps up the entire case. These people are therefore given rigorous mental training to maintain their activeness and a sound mental condition.
Studying the above example we can see that how important it is to maintain a healthy brain for the day-to-day work. Although it is not necessary to follow a rigorous routine. As our body needs some food and exercise to maintain the daily requirement of energy, similarly the brain needs some daily dose of healthy food and workout to maintain the energy and spontaneity to work and perform well.
Your daily routine must include healthy eating, physical activity, and mental exercise. Simple mathematical problems, quiz, sudoku, chess, etc are some of the general brain storming exercises that you can try.
Can you recall a popular saying, "A Vacant Brain is a Devil's Home". Well that is absolutely true. The more you keep yourself occupied, the more active and mentally sound you become. So always keep yourself busy. Even if you are free try and indulge yourself in anything that interests you.
Staying Mentally Sound & Healthy Enhances Your Personality
Your personality depicts exactly what you are. You must always try and show how best you can be. This is an important way to boost your confidence and in turn enhance your personality. This is why staying mentally sharp and alert is certainly an integral part of your personality. Laziness is one of the most important reasons that affects your health and in turn your personality. The more lazy you feel, the more you are away from a healthy lifestyle. This would impact the way you deal with people and attend to your daily work.
